Golfing enthusiasts and novices alike take to the greens every year to support education at the Golf Fore Education Classic. Held in late July, the event raises funds for STEM, student needs, arts and culture, and career and technical education in the Sioux City Community School District.
Over the years, the event has grown in popularity, even attracting several football legends to the greens every year. Heisman trophy winners including Eric Crouch, Mike Rozier, and Johnny Rodgers among other football greats have attended the Golf Fore Education Classic to help the Sioux City Public Schools Foundation advance education for Sioux City students.
